Lightweight and lovely

Now summer seems to have finally arrived, keep your cool with our lightweight ranges of lingerie that let your skin breathe whilst still giving great support and shape.

Firstly, theres the classic mesh. It comes in three colours black, white and natural, with all the shapes that you know well, plus a fantastic strapless bra. With no seams and silicon elastic designed to stick to your skin with your body heat to make sure it stays in place, it's the perfect option for summer cocktail dresses and spaghetti strap tops.

There is also our Jabouley lace range. It's a more feminine version of the mesh with small polka dots, available in black, a deep marine blue and pretty vintage rose. It's the perfect bra to let peek out over silk camis or just lounge about in the camisole and french knickers at home.

After having lots of customers asking what to wear underneath this seasons must have sheer and white items, we thought we would show you some of our options for underwear to go underneath that offers support, style and (most importantly) goes unnoticed.

Translucent white dresses are the perfect candidate for one of our slips. Lightweight with shoe string straps, they sit just above the knee and keep your modesty without making themselves known. We recommend pairing it with a mesh string for the ultimate in invisible underwear. (Dress from Zara)

Sheer white shirts go best with our Smooth Tactel range. In particular our Maquillage colour, which is imperceptible under white (even better than natural colours in fact!). Our Underwire Smooth Tactel bra means you can get a natural and supported shape with no lines showing through your shirt. To finish the set, wear with a pair of low shorts, they're a great alternative to a thong as the sit under the bum to give you a panty line free look.

This cut out shirt doesn't leave much to the imagination, so to keep yourself looking demure but still make the most of the detailing we recommend this balconette bra. It has removable straps so they don't show through on the shoulders, a low centre front to make the most of the centre panel and it's in super lightweight Sheer Tactel, perfect for keeping cool all summer. The snow may have melted, but that doesn't mean it's not still nose nippingly cold outside. So far 2010 - okay, I know it's early days yet - has been all about the pyjama, nattily accessorised with a hairy hot water bottle and a cosy pair of socks. Yes, it has finally happened... we, the friendly, comfy bra and pant gurus here at Bodas, have jumped on to the blogging bandwagon. We're taking it slowly, meaning no tweeting as of yet (I hear your collective sigh of relief) and I guess our plan is to keep you, our loyal customers, our new customers, and the inevitable blog voyeurs, up-to-date on all things Bodas. Not the day-to-day minutiae of running an underwear empire, but, you know, exciting news about new shapes/colours/fabrics that we have in the pipeline... And, if we could get some feedback, that would be even better, as we're always keen to hear what new colour or style you're dying to see added to our collection.
